Green Island is also a legendary surfing spot, known for its waves that can provide 40-50 metre rides, and even the occasional barrel. The point where the beach meets the island is popular for kite surfing as well.

In addition to its surfing appeal, Cunjurong Point offers easy access to the entrance of Lake Conjola, a favored swimming spot for families.
